Doodle Dance is a playful, movement-based pre-writing class designed to help young children build the foundational skills for writing. Through wiggling, doodling, and dancing with their hands, kids strengthen coordination, control, and confidence—all while having fun. This isn’t an art class; it’s a joyful stepping stone that prepares little learners for handwriting and literacy.
Warm-Up Wiggles: Fun stretches and movements to wake up the body and hands.
Doodle Time: Guided pre-writing activities—lines, loops, curves, and patterns.
Dance & Draw: Movement games that connect big body motions to little hand motions.
Tool Play: Exploring crayons, markers, chalk, and pencils to build grip and control.
Celebration Circle: Sharing doodles and encouraging each child’s unique progress.
The Science Behind It
Early writing doesn’t begin with letters—it begins with the body. Doodle Dance uses neurological and physiological movements to support brain and body development
