Me, You & Our Community

10-Week Cross-Curricular Enrichment Program

A hands-on project all about who we are, how we connect with others and the communities we belong to.

Across 10 weeks, children will explore confidence, friendship, kindness, empathy, communication, teamwork and belonging, while discovering their own strengths and learning how our words, choices and actions can make a difference to others.

This is a cross-curricular project incorporating Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Art and real-world problem-solving. Children will interview, investigate, design, create, write, discuss and work together on projects that encourage them to think about themselves and the world around them.

The project is just one part of their enrichment day.

Every Wednesday also includes:

🧪 Hands-on Science — experiments, investigations and discovery
🏃 PE — movement, games, skills and teamwork
🌿 Outdoor Time — exploration, gardening, play and time with friends
🧵 Creative Elective — choose from Sewing or Gardening & Nature

A varied day designed to help children learn, create, move, communicate, build friendships and grow in confidence — while feeling part of a community.
